Our Mithra+ Numbing Cream offers strong pain relief for tattoos, piercings, and laser removal procedures. However, it’s not suitable for aesthetics or procedures near the eyes or mouth. For these areas, consider our TKTX Fast Numb or Eye Anaesthetic creams.
Mithra+ is a scentless, easy-to-apply cream that provides deep numbing in 1-1.5 hours and lasts up to 3-5 hours.
Avoid discomfort during your tattoo, piercing, or laser removal procedure by applying Mithra+ beforehand. Whether you’re getting a full-sleeve tattoo or a small piercing, Mithra+ is versatile enough for different body parts.
Our cream works by numbing nerve endings and blood vessels, providing effective relief without leaving a greasy residue. Mithra+ meets strict quality standards for a safe and enjoyable experience.
Please Note:
- If the numbing wears off during your session, please note that the pain will be intensified, so make sure to reapply the cream as needed.
- Use within two weeks of opening to ensure maximum potency and effectiveness.
- Refer to the application instructions for optimal results.
- Inform your artist or practitioner beforehand and apply the cream before your appointment.
- Please note that due to its high lidocaine content, it may not be suitable for everyone.
- Always perform a patch test 24 hours before use.

Ingredients
ACTIVE: 10% lidocaine, 5% prilocaine, 1% epinephrine
Application Process
For the best results:
- Please ensure a patch test is completed 24 hours prior to use
- Do not consume alcohol or drink excess amounts of milk 24 hours before using
- Only apply the cream to exterior skin
The Application Process
APPLYING TO UNBROKEN SKIN
- Wash hands thoroughly
- Remove any excessive hair
- Make sure the area is clean, dry and not cold!
- Spread a thick layer over the area, around 2-3mm thick! Don’t rub it in!
- Cover it with plastic film – make sure it’s tight, but not too tight. Masking tape is great for awkward places! (this process can prevent evaporation while encouraging slow and proper -absorption into the skin
- Wash your hands thoroughly after application!
- Leave for 1.5 – 2 hours (no more than 2 hours)
- Remove the film, wipe/clean the area (your artist/nurse will probably do this for you)
Reapplication:
(only re-apply once during procedure to minimise the risk of infection)
APPLYING TO BROKEN SKIN
– Once applied, leave for 15 -20 mins
– Remove film and wipe clean
For piercings, cling film is best where possible, but the cream should still work without.
For extra large areas (e.g. full back piece), when possible, only remove sections of the film at a time to keep the area numbed for longer – make sure to also leave the cream on as thick as possible for the full 2 hours for it to fully absorb and work efficiently. That extra 30 minutes makes a huge difference!
